I wanted to include various resources for both LGBTQIA+ adults and parents of LGBTQIA+ children for education and self advocacy tools. The list will be updated periodically as information changes and I find more to share, so check back every so often to see what's available! Also feel free to offer suggestions, or DM(direct message) me about the subject if you prefer.

First we have an overview from the Human Rights Campaign, which summarizes how disability and sexual orientation and gender identity intersect in school, employment, and medical care.

If you're looking for community or support from a trained counselor during a crisis, The Trevor Project offers services for LGBTQIA+ youth aged 13-24.

Information on getting started with an IEP(Individualized Education Program) for PreK-12 children, which caters to disability as well as gender and sexuality.

Check out AWN(Autistic Women and Nonbinary Network) for advocacy, community support, financial aid and more.

Articles and books are available at Emerson University , as well as RespectAbility
