Diagnosed with dyslexia at age six, my K-12 education was extremely challenging, leaving me feeling frustrated and helpless. In college, I spent years rebuilding my confidence and purpose. My childhood was filled with incredible individuals with physical, medical, and cognitive needs. These experiences shaped my understanding of true inclusion. Before becoming a Board-Certified Education Advocate, I spent over a decade working as a special education aide, teacher and educational therapist.
